I’ve been thinking about investing in scrap gold for some time now. We just moved to an area where there are a lot of estate sales…so the opportunity to find gold and silver is high.
Do you have an advice on how to handle the scrap gold? My son and I have small foundry and can melt the gold down and pour into bars. Is that a good strategy or do buyers want the gold in the form of rings, chains, etc.
Thanks for the insightful article!
