Company: Oxford Gold Group

Who is it for? People who would like to invest in a precious metals IRA.
Overall rating: (3 / 5)

Essential to mention (before we go into more details of this review)
We strongly recommend doing your research online before choosing a company to invest in. There are so many reviews online of clients being ripped off and scammed. So please investigate thoroughly and compare different alternatives before you make your decision.
One example: 99.9% of companies got “pushy” salespeople trying to stress you into acting fast.
Here is the thing, the #1 Recommended Gold & Silver IRA Dealer on our top-5 list got No-salesy representatives… So they won´t bother or terrorize you with phone calls.
You are an intelligent person, so I am sure that you understand the benefits of dealing with such a company instead, right?
+They got a couple more benefits you might appreciate as much as I do. You will understand yourself once you have visited the page (link) above.

With that being said, let´s continue with the review on Oxford Gold Group!
Oxford Gold Group Review
Based in Los Angeles, California, and founded in 2017, Oxford Gold Group is an IRA provider that specializes in offering precious metals IRAs.
This company also specializes in rolling over your current IRA account to precious metals IRAs, handling all the paperwork and phone calls necessary.
It’s important to note that this company is not an IRA custodian, it just makes the rolling over process easier. Oxford Gold group works with two IRA custodian, Strata Trust Company, and Equity Institutional.
Honestly, these companies don’t have that great of a reputation, I would recommend working with a company that is an IRA custodian that also offers precious metals, to make the process easier and avoid problems that could take place.
While investigating this company, I found another website www.oxfordgoldgroup.net. This website isn’t secure ( no SSL certificate ), and I’m unsure whether this company acclaims it. A website that’s not secure is not a good sign.
Here’s a screenshot of the physical address of Oxford Gold Group:
What are the products and services offered?
Oxford Gold Group offers precious metals in Gold, Silver, Palladium, and Platinum.
These include IRA-eligible products.

IRAs offered?
The IRAs offered to depend on the IRA custodian you’ll be choosing are not displayed on the Oxford Gold Group website.

IRA fees?
Like the IRAs offered, the IRA fees also depend on the custodian you’ll choose. I always emphasize the importance of knowing the exact fees before choosing your custodian because “hidden fees” are where most of the rip-offs take place. It’s always advised to be extremely cautious with this. That’s why I prefer working with companies that display fees directly on their website.

Can you store with the company?
Here’s an excerpt that explains the storage process with Oxford Gold Group:
Your IRA-owned Precious Metals will remain in the custody of either STRATA or Equity Institutional, and placed with your choice of one of the following third-party depositories for storage and safekeeping:
Brink’s Global Services (www.brinksglobal.com), or
Delaware Depository Service Company (www.delawaredepository.com)
You are not permitted to hold the Precious Metals yourself while owned in the IRA.
Can you sell back to the company and get the precious metals delivered home?
There is no information about whether you can sell back to Oxford Gold Group.
As mentioned in the excerpt above, you are not allowed to hold the precious metals yourself. In other words, get them delivered home while they’re in your IRA account.
Countries allowed?
The website also doesn’t include information about the countries Oxford Gold Group allows.

Conclusion:
Oxford Gold Group has some great reviews on Trustpilot, but they are the only ones to be found! This company is relatively new, and that might explain that. Still, this lack of reviews makes this company fall behind compared to other competitors that have been around for a more extended period and have thousands of positive customer reviews.

Final Words and Verdict
Verdict: Legit ( Based on the physical address provided and BBB accreditation )
Overall rating: (3 / 5) Not recommended
Okay, I think that’s everything that could be said about Oxford Gold Group. This company seems to have decent services, but it has some cons that are a turn-off for me. It doesn’t have a lot of reviews, it’s relatively new, and it only works with two IRA custodians that are not recommended. Looking in other directions is the best thing to do.
