This is a review of a company called Universal Coin & Bullion. What is Universal Coin Bullion? Should you pick them as your number one dealer?
Let’s find out!
Product: Precious metals.
Website: www.universalcoin.com
Owner: Mike Fuljenz (President)
Price: Depends on your investments.
Who is it for: Collectors.
Overall rating: (2 / 5)
Important to mention before we continue with the review:
We always strongly recommend doing your research online before you choose a company to invest in. There are so many reviews online where former clients claim they have been ripped off and scammed. One tricky way companies get away with this is they disguise charges in so-called “hidden fees”.
So always be aware and please, investigate completely before you make your choice when it comes to big investments.

What is Universal Coin Bullion? – Overview
Universal Coin & Bullion is a gold company that specializes in selling bullion and rare coins for collectors and investors. The precious metal dealer has been in business since 1991 and its headquarters are located in Beaumont, Texas.
The products and services offered
Universal Coin & Bullion offers a wide range of both gold and silver coins and bullets. They even have IRA eligible precious metals and offer help to start up an IRA account for your retirement. In exchange for your personal information such as your phone number, street address, and email they will send you a FREE IRA DIVERSIFICATION KIT to help get started with your IRA.
- They offer free shipping for online orders over $99.00.
- Online orders that are $99.00 or less, will be subject to shipping charges of $6.00.
- They ship within 2-3 business days after they have received your payment.
What about the fees?
My impression of Universal Coin & Bullion is that they only help out with getting your IRA account started but not actually being a custodian. Therefore the information on the fees of storages etc. is nowhere to be found.
If you are really interested in finding out these prices, I suggest you give them a call But then again that might be their trick to be able to sell products to you when they have you on the line.
How is the support?
If you want to reach out to them it is easiest to call them on the phone to speak to a representative.
If you don’t prefer to talk on the phone you can fill out an online form on their website or send an email to; info@universalcon.com
You can also follow them on social media through Twitter or Facebook that they seem to keep up to date pretty regularly.
Are there any red flags?
You should always review and compare different investment companies against each other before you make a final decision.

Is Universal Coin Bullion A Scam?
No, from what I can tell Universal Coin Bullion is not a scam. It seems like a legit company and they have been in business for a long time which indicates that they are doing something right. If you do a search online you might find some bad reviews of the company where customers complain about the service.
Bad reviews are not a good indicator but, as always you should make your own research based on the qualities that are important to you before you make your decision.
Are there better alternatives out there?
YES! There are a few ones I would consider better alternatives, I got many of them listed on this site, but the absolute best one I can recommend is; Goldco.

The good
- Been in business since the ’90s
- Free kit.
The bad
- Not a true gold custodian.
- No ratings on Trustlink.
Final words and verdict
Universal Coin Bullion is a gold dealer that suits the patient collector. If you are looking for rare coins or collectibles I would recommend this company. That is if you are willing to wait a couple of extra days for the shipping to arrive. Based on the negative reviews I found they seem to be doing a bad job of sending the products on time. Some customers also complained of damaged products that didn’t meet up to their expectations.
Verdict: Legit
Overall rating: (2 / 5)
Universal Coin Bullion might not be the best option for you if you are a serious investor looking for a serious company.
What company do I recommend?
If you want to protect and secure your retirement savings in 2023 GOLD is the way to go. There are a lot of companies out there that offer great services but at the end of the day, you have to be able to choose a custodian that you trust.
The absolute best one I can recommend is the fastest growing gold IRA provider in the USA right now and it is a very popular alternative among real investors!
