Company: Direct Bullion
Website: www.directbullion.com
Owner: N/A
Who is it for? People who would like to invest in precious metals.
Overall rating: (4 / 5)
Important to mention (before we go into more details of this review)
We strongly recommend researching online before choosing a company to invest with. There are so many reviews online of clients being ripped off and scammed. So please investigate thoroughly and compare different alternatives before you make your decision.
One example: 99.9% of companies got “pushy” salespeople trying to stress you into acting fast.
Here is the thing, the #1 Recommended Gold & Silver IRA Dealer on our top-5 list got No-salesy representatives… So they won´t bother or terrorize you with phone calls.
You are a smart person, so I am absolutely sure that you understand the benefits of dealing with such a company instead, right?
+They got a couple more benefits you might appreciate as much as I do, you will understand yourself once you have visited the page (link) above.

With that being said, let´s continue with the review on Direct Bullion!
What is Direct Bullion?
Established in 2014, Direct Bullion is one of the largest precious metals dealers in England. This company specializes in selling and shipping coins and bars in gold and silver to national and international clients.
The Direct Bullion safes team boasts clients from Windsor Castle and The Bank of England, to Chanel and Harrods. Hello and welcome to another review at Gold Retired! As you all know, here, we usually investigate companies that are either international or from the U.S. But, this time around, if you’re from the U.K. this review is perfect for you!
Here’s a screenshot of the physical address of this company ( it’s the same address as a company called Servcorp ):
You can order through the phone, online, or face-to-face thanks to their local offices in London.
The Direct Bullion Safes Team also supplies safes, vaults, and panic rooms to its clients. Here’s an excerpt from their website that talks about some of the clients that work with the Direct Bullion Safes Team:
The Direct Bullion safes team boast clients from Windsor Castle and The Bank of England, to Chanel and Harrods.
Apparently, this company is praised for its good customer service, which is always important when purchasing precious metals.
The website looks neat and is overall easy to navigate and displays several types of products.

You can’t store with Direct Bullion but just like I said above this company has a Safes Team that provides its clients with safes and even installs these safes from them.
Click here to go to their “safes” page where you can find out more about this ( opens in new window )
Can you sell back to the company?
Yes, you can sell back to Direct Bullion BUT only the precious metals you purchased through THEM.
Here’s an excerpt from their FAQs page that explains this more:
We will be more than happy to re-purchase any coins, bars and graded coins supplied by us at 95% of its value on the day you decide to sell.
Can you get the precious metals delivered home?
Yes, this precious metals dealer offers shipping, and they claim that it’s free on all UK orders.
Countries allowed?
It’s written on the Direct Bullion that they ship to international clients but they didn’t include the exact countries that are allowed or the shipping fees.
What about online ratings and reviews?
No matter what you’re buying, it’s always important to go through the online reviews and ratings, let alone if you’re buying something as valuable as precious metals.
As always, gold retired saves you the effort of going through the top review sites. Here’s what they have to say about Direct Bullion.
Trustlink
Rating: N/A
Yelp
Rating: N/A
Conclusion:
Direct Bullion has good reviews on Trustpilot but no reviews on the other top reviews websites. That might be due to the fact that it’s not an American company but still, there are international companies with a lot more reviews so this makes Direct Bullion fall behind compared to them.

Final Words and Verdict
Verdict: Legit
Overall rating: (4 / 5)
Okay, I think this sums up everything about Direct Bullion. This company is good for those who want to buy small amounts of precious metals, but for me, it’s fairly new and still has a lot to prove. Choosing other international companies that have been around for a longer period of time and that have more reviews is a better option.

First of all, thank you for your comment!
It is also very good that you share your experience here as it can help others make better decisions.
Sounds like they changed their terms, right? Do you know if there was some part of the agreement when you did your initial purchace that stated that the terms could be changed by the company along the way so to speak? Might be worth looking at that.
I would also recommend that you contact a top company and ask them about your situation, they might buy back from you to a better price aswell, or atleast guide you on what the best solution for you might be.
I would recommend that you contact the #1 recommended company on my top-5 list first of all as their staff is very friendly and super helpful: https://goldretired.com/best-gold-ira-companies-top-5-list-additional-resources
