With that being said, let´s continue with the review on The Gold Bullion Exchange!
What is Gold Bullion Exchange?
The company is a reputable and trusted gold dealer with various metals and prices for different levels of investors. It´s physical address is: 9107 Wilshire Blvd #450, Beverly Hills, CA 90210-5535
Whether you are an emerging or established investor in precious metals, this might be for you. Since its establishment in 2011, Gold Bullion Exchange has focused on offering quality at competitive rates.
Retirement benefits are among the common motivating factors for this investment idea. Gold Bullion Exchange will offer the flexibility you need in handling your investment and storage. If you want it in physical form or opt for gold stock, you can consult the professionals at the company for a more informed choice and decision.
How does it work?
Gold Bullion Exchange mechanism is simple and definite. Whether you are interested in investing or adding style to your metal collections, your needs will be catered for here. First, you need to contact the company for a quotation on their different packages to be able to make a decision. Of course, gold and silver involve a significant amount of cash hence the need for discreetness. There are no brokers involved in the transaction.
Depending on the amount of cash involved, a secure payment system is suggested.
Products and services
Specific products by the company include; gold and silver bullion, proof coins, world coins, rare coins, Numismatic coins, silver boxes and bags, Pre-1921 silver coins, Pre-1933 gold coins, and platinum and palladium coins and bars. These are the main products alongside other exciting features of precious metals.
Besides equipping your metal collection or helping you make a meaningful investment for your generation, Gold Bullion Exchange offers professional advice. The experts help you make decisions on how much to invest. Suppose you are torn between physical gold and gold-stock options of investment. In that case, they can help you evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each while focusing on your interests, resulting in a confident and practical decision.
Gold Bullion Exchange IRA?
Yes, there are multiple IRA packages. Not through the company itself but their different partners. There is no exact info on fees on the website, though, so you will have to look at the custodian given to you by the company. On the precious metals IRA page on their website, in the FAQ section you can see that the custodians they are partnered with are Sterlink Trust Company and Self Directed IRA. When trying to click on both of the links you will get an error message though, not a good look. Also, Self Directed IRA have changed name to Strata Trust company, and the same is the case with Sterlink Trust as they have changed name to Equity Institutional so it might be time to update the info on the Gold Bullion Exchange website.
P.S.
Always compare different companies against each other before you decide on anything. There are many reports of scams and ripoffs, especially regarding so-called hidden fees.

The fees?
If you are concerned about a highly ranked and reputable gold IRA custodian, the company assures you of the best rates with Gold Bullion Exchange. The fees are per the world regulation authority standards on the precious metals trade. The fees are determined by IRA kits that match the requirements of the IRA market.
Most gold dealers tend to exaggerate IRA fees to suit individual interests. This is not the case with Gold Bullion Exchange because the company has established relationships with the best clients worldwide, hence the consistent sales flow. There is no need to take advantage of clients by increasing IRA fees. They all are as per the market requirements irrespective of the product or service. Although the company offers different packages, the IRA fees are standardized according to the company.
**This IRA custodian got among the lowest and also a simple flat fee
Can you get the metals delivered home?
Yes. Gold Bullion Exchange is concerned about safety more than anything else. Gold and silver are the most sought-after assets in the world. The coins and bars are probably the most valuable physical assets. Processing payment and shipping of the coins is a sensitive process. If you are confident of a transportation mode, you can get it shipped as per your preference. However, the company suggests a mode of transport or deliver it to your house. All these options are available, awaiting client requests and preferences. Most buyers choose the home delivery option because the safety burden lies on Gold Bullion Exchange to take care of security and proper packaging. It never fails in delivering your coins or bars within agreed timelines.
Worth to mention here is that you can not store IRA gold at home as it is simply not allowed.
Can you store with the company?
After buying gold bars or coins, the question comes with storage. Irrespective of the metal you choose, it can cost your life. There are various storage options depending on your interests. If you are buying it for investment, you do not need to store it in your house. If you are buying gold to add to your collection and pride, you might be considering storing it in a safe in your bedroom. Some people opt to store it with a bank, which attracts extra costs because of the asset’s value.
The best option might be to store with Gold Bullion Exchange. The company is concerned about your financial stability and securing your investment. After purchase, you can consider storage options by consulting professionals.
Can you sell back to the company?
Yes. Gold Bullion Exchange will buy your coins or bars at any point you wish to sell. The rate is dependent on the current market rates and type of asset. Smaller coins often cost more because of the time and effort to create the shapes. Price can vary from your purchase rate depending on these factors.
What countries are allowed (International shipping)?
It is easy to shop with the company because of free policies. Also, all orders above $1500 are shipped for free to the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE.
How good is their support?
Something we here at Gold Retired always put a lot of weight on when it comes to the support system of a particular company is if they got a live chat function.
Does Gold Bullion Exchange have this?
No, they don´t, which is a minus (at least in our book).
We didn´t even find an e-mail contact address on their website, but only a phone nr for you to turn to with your questions.
Is Gold Bullion Exchanges a Scam?
So, is Gold Bullion Exchanges a scam? No, it is not a scam, it is a legit company, obviously. It has been in business for over a decade, and it would not have survived that long if it wasn´t legit, right? The company also got a real physical address, but we cannot find any owner on the company, and that is a minus and potential red flag aswell.
However, if it is your best alternative out there is another story, and that leads us to what the most well-known and trusted independent 3rd party consumer protection agencie have to say:
Gold Bullion Exchange Reviews, Complaints & Ratings
BBB (Better Business Bureau)
Rating: NOT accredited business Click here for details (opens in new window)
Trustpilot
Rating: N/A
BCA (Business Consumer Alliance)
Rating: AAA (from 0 reviews?) click here for details (opens in new window)
Trustlink
Rating: (5 / 5) (Out of 1 review from 2012) click here for details (opens in new window)
Yelp
Rating: N/A
The conclusion from these reviews (and red flags):
First of all, Gold Bullion Exchange is NOT accredited by the BBB, and that is a big minus. However, the independent third party consumer protection agency that I always put the most weight on, when it comes to ratings, is Trustpilot. I found it a bit weird to see that there is nothing to be found on the Trustpilot site, and that is actually the biggest minus in my humble opinion. The reason I put most weight on Trustpilot is because that is a place where only real customers of a product or service can leave their testimonial on that particular company.
Important to mention here:
You need to know that many other companies in this industry have been around for the same amount of time, more extended, or even shorter periods that got a lot of reviews and ratings from their clients on ALL of the above consumer protection agencies.
==> This one, for example, got HUNDREDS of Positive Reviews (on Trustpilot and the others as well)
The pros and the cons
Another thing that is always recommended before you decide if a company is right for you or not is to look at its positive sides and compare them against the negative sides. As always, we provide you with some clear ones on both sides of the spectrum:
The good
- Free shipping on orders above $1,500
- Fees seem to be acceptable
The bad
- No owner listed on their website
- NOT accredited by the BBB
- Not much of a support system (only a phone nr)
- No reviews and ratings from the most trusted consumer protection agencies

Final words and verdict
Verdict: Not recommended
Overall rating: (2.5 / 5)
Ok, I think that sums up the overall view of this company pretty well. It is a legit one, at least it seems so. However, there is no owner listed on their website, no live chat staff, or even an e-mail address for you to ask questions—only a phone number.
The most significant concern, though (in my opinion), is that they are NOT an accredited business by the BBB, and there is almost nothing to be found on them from the most well-known and trusted review and rating site Trustpilot.
My recommendation to you:
