Company: Gold Republic
Who is it for? People who would like to invest in precious metals.
Overall rating: (3.5 / 5)
Important to mention (before we go into more details of this review).
We strongly recommend doing your own research online before choosing a company to invest in. There are so many reviews online of clients being ripped off and scammed. So please investigate thoroughly and compare different alternatives before you make your decision.
One example: 99.9% of companies got “pushy” salespeople trying to stress you into acting fast.
Here is the thing, the #1 Recommended Gold & Silver IRA Dealer on our top-5 list got No-salesy representatives… So they won´t bother or terrorise you with phone calls.
You are a smart person, so I am sure that you understand the benefits of dealing with such a company instead, right?
+They got a couple more benefits you might appreciate as much as I do, you will understand yourself once you have visited the page (link) above.

With that being said, let´s continue with the review on Gold Republic!
What is Gold Republic?
Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and founded in 2010, Gold Republic is an international precious metals dealer that focuses primarily on selling bullion online to private investors. It has 7 employees and over 3 thousand clients. This company’s assets are estimated to be around 40 million euros in precious metals.
Here’s a screenshot of the physical address of Gold Republic:
What are the products and services offered?
Gold Republic offers products in Gold, Silver, and Platinum.
I wouldn’t say I liked that they don’t display the exact products they sell on their website or the different varieties of the coins or bars they sell. They only included a price chart and some useful information.
On the other hand, I really liked that they included a table that details their pricing for buying, selling, transactions, and more, here it is:
Here’s an excerpt from the Gold Republic website that talks about the amounts of gold you can buy from them:
AT GOLDREPUBLIC YOU CAN RESERVE AND BUY GOLD BARS OF 100 GRAMS, 1 KILOGRAM OR 12.5 KILOGRAMS (400 TROY OZ). YOU CAN ALSO BUY A SMALLER QUANTITY OF GOLD, BUT THEN YOU WILL BECOME CO-OWNER OF A BAR.
Does Gold Republic offer IRAs?
Gold Republic is just a precious metals dealer and does not offer IRAs. There is also no information on its website about whether the precious metals it sells are IRA-eligible.

Can you store with the company?
Yes, you can store with Gold Republic! Here’s a screenshot that shows the two storage options you have with them:
Gold Republic’s vaults are located in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Zurich (Switzerland) and Frankfurt/Main (Germany).
You can also find the storage fees in the screenshot of Gold Republic’s pricing above.
Can you sell back to the company?
Yes, you can sell back to Gold Republic! Here’s an excerpt from their website that explains this:
If you wish to sell your precious metal, you have the guarantee that GoldRepublic
will buy it back at the price applicable at that time, as shown on the website of
GoldRepublic. Before you place a selling order, you must ensure that you have a
sufficient quantity of precious metal stored with the Custodian. After placing a
selling order, the order goes through different statuses.
They didn’t specify the exact precious metals they buy nor if they buy precious metals that you didn’t purchase through them.
Can you get the precious metals delivered home?
Yes, you can get your precious metals delivered home. But, Gold Republic is primarily focused on getting your precious metals stored in vaults as explained in the following excerpt from their website:
You have the right to have your precious metal delivered to you; however, you
acknowledge that GoldRepublic is not primarily intended as a service for those who
wish to have precious metal physically in their possession.
There is no information about the countries Gold Republic allows.
What about online ratings and reviews?
Going through the online reviews, ratings, and complaints about any company before making your decision is definitely a no-brainer! Many people regretted not doing this and ended up losing a lot of money that could’ve been saved if they took the time to see what the review websites have to say about the company they chose. We know you’re smarter than this, so, as always, we gathered the online reviews and ratings of today’s company: Gold Republic. Here they are!
There are no reviews about Gold Republic on the top review websites. This might be explained by the fact that it isn’t an American company. But, reviews on international companies are usually found easily on Trustpilot. In this case, there are none. This makes Gold Republic fall behind compared to other competitors with hundreds or even thousands of positive reviews and thus, a proof of the satisfaction of their customers!

Final Words and Verdict on Gold Republic
Overall rating: (3.5 / 5)
Okay, I think this sums up everything there is to know about Gold Republic. The website is great and has a lot of useful information. They don’t have a lot of reviews on the top review sites which makes assessing the quality of their services and customer support impossible. They also don’t include the exact precious metals they sell on their website and I’m not sure whether they even have that many coins or bars for you to choose from. I would honestly recommend looking in other directions even if you’re looking to get a small number of precious metals.
