Today we will take a look at Guidant Financial for you. What is Guidant financial? Are they going to be a smart and “safe” investment for you, or are there better alternatives? These are some of the main questions this review will focus on.
Company: Guidant Financial
Website: www.guidantfinancial.com
Owner: David Nilssen (co-founder and CEO) and Jeremy Ames (co-founder and CEO)
Price: Depends on the size of your investment
Who is it for? Investors
Overall rating: (3.5 / 5)
Important to mention (before we go into more details of this review)
We strongly recommend doing your research online before choosing a company to invest in. There are so many reviews online of clients being ripped off and scammed. So please investigate thoroughly and compare different alternatives before you make your decision.
One example: 99.9% of companies got “pushy” salespeople trying to stress you into acting fast.
Here is the thing, the #1 Recommended Gold & Silver IRA Dealer on our top-5 list got No-salesy representatives… So they won´t bother or terrorize you with phone calls.
You are a smart person, so I am sure that you understand the benefits of dealing with such a company instead, right?
+They got a couple more benefits you might appreciate as much as I do. You will understand yourself once you have visited the page (link) above.

With that being said, let´s continue with the review on Guidant Financial!
What is Guidant Financial about?
Guidant Financial was founded in 2003 with a primary focus on helping small businesses to realize their dreams through financing. Over the years, they have continued to do this. They have $3 billion in small business funding and over 100 employees.
The physical address of the company is: 1100 112th Ave NE #100, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA
How does it work?
As an investor (in pretty much any area), you can invest in gold and other precious metals.
You can also get help with making a “rollover” from your 401(k) into a gold-backed IRA account.
The Products and services
- providing multiple funding options such as Gold and other precious metals, Real Estate, Tax liens, etc
- 401(k)
- IRA “rollover.”
- SBA Small Business Loans
- Unsecured loans
- Portfolio loans
- Equipment leasing
- Growth Capital
- Business services
IRAs?
Yes, IRAs are offered. In this part of the review, I normally provide a screenshot of the different fees associated with setting up an IRA account with the particular company in question, so you can easily compare, for example, the yearly storage fee and other fees.
However, I didn´t find any clear info on the fees for an IRA account on the Guidant Financial website.
Important to mention here:
You might think that the fees are the same with all IRA custodians. That is NOT the case. You need to know that it can differ A LOT in price, and some companies are 3-4 times more expensive than others.

Can you get the gold (and other metals) delivered to your home?
This is something that is not mentioned on their website, so you can (most likely) assume that it is not an option.
Why can you assume that?
Because most of its peers take big pride in displaying such a function when they got it.
Can you store your investment with the company?
Once again, this is something that is not mentioned on their website (which I find a bit strange). However, most of its competitors offer storage through third-party partner depositors.
I am pretty confident that Guidant will offer you something similar.
Can you sell back to the company?
Once again, this is something that is not mentioned on their website.
Can anybody in any country use the service?
No, their services are for citizens living in the U.S.
Is Guidant Financial a scam?
So, is Guidant Financial a scam? No, of course not. It is a legit company. It would never have survived since 2003 if it wasn´t. It also got real owners, a real physical address.
However, if it is the one that suits you the best (among the many alternatives) is a whole other story.
That leads us to the following:
Online Reviews, Ratings, and Complaints

Are there any Red Flags?
As you can see above, there are not that many reviews on the company online, at least not if you compare to some of its competitors. Also, some of the reviews are pretty negative. Below I give you two screenshot examples from 2 “not so happy” clients:

Important to mention here:
As you can see, there are mixed voices on the quality of the service that Guidant Financial provides.
There are only around 150 reviews on the company online, which is not a very impressive (high) number if you compare it to some of its peers.

How´s the support?
One thing I always put a lot of value on when it comes to the quality of a company’s support is whether they got a live chat function. Guidant doesn’t have this, which is a minus (at least in my book).
You can contact them with your questions and inquiries through their physical address, e-mail address, and phone number.
Why Should You (Or Should NOT) Join Guidant Financial?
It is always recommended to compare the pros against the cons of a company to get a better picture. Below I have highlighted some clear points to make this job easier for you:
The Good
- Offers a wide range of services
- The overall review score is above average
The Bad
- Few reviews
- Negative reviews and complaints
- No live chat (hard to get fast answers)
- The website lacks in some info, IRA storage fees, for example

Final Words and Verdict on Guidant Financial
Verdict: Legit
Overall rating: (3.5 / 5)
Ok, I think that sums the whole overall picture of this company up pretty well.
This is a legit company, no question about that. Its history and numbers back the legacy up.
However, I can not give a higher rating than 3,5 / 5 for now as the complaints are there for anyone to see and the lack of info on their site is something I don´t like.
So, 3,5 is for now!
It can, of course, change to a higher or lower one in the future as the reviews on this website are getting updated as soon as some “news” on a company comes up.
You have made a smart choice reading this review as it is always recommended that you research and compare many different companies against each other before making an educated decision.
I Am sure that you will find an IRA custodian that is right for you as you clearly understand this concept (you wouldn´t have read this far if you wasn´t) 😉
As always, the choice is up to you!

With a company that has customer support basically nonexistent, I do consider that a scam. Look elsewhere. As the reviews online probably do show there as it was kind of too small for me to see, but I would not put trust in this company. The other reviews you have looked better but thanks a lot
Yeah, I agree with you, why take a risk, right?
I provided links under the complaint screenshots, that you can click on to see the articular complaint bigger, and also to see more reviews and ratings.
Hope that helps!

Over three billion dollars in small business lending and over one hundred employees certainly sounds like a legitimate company.
The negative reviews, as few as there are, are a cause of concern for me. Regal Assets sounds like a better bet to me, although the Five Thousand Dollar minimum investment would be a bit of a problem for me.
Thank you for your comment, yes, totally agree on that.
Agree on that also, that is actually the only “negative” I can find on RA
Thank you again for your comment.
Sincerely
