Ok, with that being said, let´s continue with the review on Liori Diamonds.
What is Liori Diamonds about?
Liori Diamonds is a diamond and jewelry dealer that have been in business for 12+ years now, that might not be a long time in this industry but it has in this short amount of time managed to become a player that stands out.
The physical address of the company is: Liori Diamonds 581, 5th Avenue, Penthouse Suite 6th Floor, New York, NY 10017
How does it work?
The way their website works is pretty much like any other online diamond jewelry website, you browse around for the items you want, place an order and that´s it.
In short, t works just like any other online diamond jewelry dealer site
The products and services
The products and services the company offers its clients are as follow (see below):
- Engagement
- Wedding Bands
- Color Rings
- Me-Mi
- Earrings
- Rings
- Watches
- Pendants
- Bracelets
- Daily deals
Can you get home delivery?
Yes, you can, however, there is very little info on this on their website, so if you want to know more it is best to contact their support.
Important to mention here:
A 5% fee will be added on all returned items.
Is it safe?
You are backed by a 14-day full money back guarantee by Liori if you for some reason wouldn’t be happy with your order.
Worth to mention here:
Personally, I think 14 days is a bit short of a “guarantee period”, especially when you look at some of the competitors to Liori that offer you 30 days instead. I mean, 14 days go fast, and if there are complications in the communication, for example, the guarantee period might “run out” before you are able to act… Just saying.

Do they have GIA certificates?
Are Liori GIA certificated?
No, they are not (even if some of their jewelry is).
How good is their support?
Something I always put a lot of weight on when it comes to the quality of a company´s support system is if they got a live chat function or not. Does Liori have this?
Yes, they do, however, when I tried to access it but it was offline…
They also got e-mail and phone support.
Is Liori Diamonds a scam?
So, is Liori Diamonds a scam? No owner listed on their website, not much info on shipping, only 14-days money back guarantee… The red flags are there, however, It has been around for 12+ years, and it would not have survived that long if it was a scam.
If it is your best alternative out there is another story, and that leads us to what the most well-known and trusted review and rating sites have to say about them:
Other online reviews and ratings
It is always wise to look at what the most well-known and trusted review and rating sites online have to say about the particular company you are interested in. As always in our reviews we provide you with their results to make that job easier for you (with clickable links):
BBB
Rating: A+
Complaints: (1 / 5) (out of 4 complaints ) click here for details (opens in new window)
Trustpilot
Rating: (4 / 5) (out of 144 reviews) click here for details (opens in new window)
Yelp
Rating: (5 / 5) (out of 12 reviews) Click here for details (opens in new window)
The conclusion from this:
Well, as the results above show, the reviews and ratings are mixed, bot good and bad. It is accredited by the BBB but also got a low 1 out of 5 stars score there from its clients as there are complaints… The Trustpilot score is pretty decent with a 4 out of 5 and the Yelp site is the one who has rated the company the best of the “BIG 3” rating sites.

The pros and cons
Another thing that is always recommended to do before making any kind of decisions is to compare the particular company’s positive sides against its negative to get a better overall view. As always in our reviews we provide you with some obvious ones on both sides of the spectrum:
The good
- Wide selection of jewelry
The bad
- Not GIA certificated
- Only 14-days money back guarantee
- 5% fee on all returned items
- Not much info on their website (no owner, no shipping info)
- Got more than just a few complaints and bad ratings online
Are there better alternatives out there?
Well, yes, I have to say yes on this question. In my opinion, there are just too many red flags on this company and I would recommend you to look at other alternatives. I got at least 7 other companies listed on this website that I would recommend to you over Liori, the absolute best one is Asteria Diamonds as they offer the whole package and a bit more. They even own their own diamond supply completely:

Final words and verdict
Verdict: Legit
Overall rating: (1.5 / 5)
Ok, I think that sums up the overall view of this company pretty good. Yes, it is a legit one, however, call me suspicious if you want) but in my opinion, there are just too many red flags for me to recommend it to you.
No owner listed on their website, not much info on shipping, many complaints online, and then the short 14-day money back guarantee… I don´t know, I might have made to many reviews and seen too many scams and rip off testimonials and stories… but I am always on the buyers’ side of things… Not the company… So I have to say that I would NOT recommend Lioris for the moment.
The rating from me is 1,5 out of 5.
This can of course change to an either higher or lower one in the future as we make sure to update our reviews as soon as any “news” comes up.
As always the decision is up to you.
