What is Noble Gold?
Noble Gold exists as a full-service precious metal and gold IRA company that is based in Pasadena, California. The company came to birth as a result of the actualization of the brilliant ideas borne by Charles Thorngren and Collin Plume. The two lifelong pals had been serving as financial services specialists, at the time they were taking the step to bring to life this company with a noble purpose.
Charles and Plume decided to form Noble Gold upon realizing that most companies in this industry were taking advantage of precious metal buyers. They also realized that most companies in this space were trying to force customers to purchase their products or pay for their services, without necessarily helping them pick the right precious metals for their retirement investments or for their other needs.
Noble Gold presents itself as a company that is run by honest, friendly, and knowledgeable staff members, who are out to help new investors preserve their wealth. Its founders are believers in the necessity to have a balanced portfolio, as well as a long-term investment strategy, as opposed to making an attempt to time the market. This is exactly what they help their clients to achieve.
What services does Noble Gold offer?
You can benefit from the following services that Noble Gold offers to its customers:
-
Noble Gold IRAs
Noble Gold IRA helps its customers diversify their retirement plans by putting a portion of their money in gold investments. If you want to open a Gold IRA with Noble Gold, you should start by filling out an online form on their official website.
You should complete the form by filling it out to the best of your knowledge, before submitting it. A representative at Noble Gold will then call you to assist you with completing the application. You can also save time by calling the representatives right away, to have them assist you to choose the precious metals that the IRS has approved for use in Gold IRAs.
You can invest in the Gold IRA by depositing cash right away, or by rolling the funds in your current IRA. Pensions will in most cases not qualify for a rollover, but you can talk about this option with a Noble Gold representative.
Unlike traditional IRAs, the assets (gold, silver, and other precious metals), that are held in a Gold IRA need to be placed in a secure depository. Noble Gold works hand in hand with International Depository Services to help with the storage of its customers’ precious metals. The gold and silver stored in this depository are insured by the popular insurance company known as Lloyd’s of London.
Customers can access their holding on an online platform, at any time of the day, thanks to Equity Institutional, a firm that makes this possible.
-
Noble Royal Gold Survival Packs
Noble Gold offers its customers emergency response packages known as Royal Survival Packs. These packs contain a mixture of several precious metals that are selected by the investment experts at Noble Gold.
The precious metals in these packs are suitable for people who would like to own precious metals and use them as currency in the event of the occurrence of a large scale economic disaster. The packs generally consist of the very common gold and silver coins or bullion that are available for use in any economic crisis.
Customers living in the USA can purchase Noble Royal Gold Survival Packs for anything between $5000 and $500,000. Those living in other nations can purchase the Noble Ambassador Survival Pack by simply calling the representatives at Noble Gold.
The Royal Survival Packs are usually delivered to their clients In plain wrapping to a client’s residence in about 5 days. Customers in the USA and Canada can rely on Noble Gold’s secure and guarded storage to store their Royal Survival Packs.

Can Noble Gold buy back your precious metals?
Yes! This company has a program known as No-Quibble Buyback through which it allows its customers to sell their precious metals to them. In addition to that, if you decide to a portion or all of your investments and you do not find a suitable buyer, Noble Gold will offer to purchase them from you.
Does Noble Gold have any other precious metals besides gold and silver?
Yes. You can also purchase platinum and palladium from Noble Gold, but you cannot use either in your Gold IRA because they are not approved by the IRS for such investments.

Is Noble Gold genuine or is it a Scam?
Noble Gold is, in my opinion, a genuine company. There is more than enough reviews and ratings online that indicates that and that it is out to achieve the objectives it has stipulated on its official website. It has received some good ratings and feedback on consumer trust sites such as:
- Consumer Affairs–
(5 / 5)
- Scam Report–
(4.3 / 5)
Evidently, Noble Gold is a company that seems reliable so far, and one that anyone looking for ways to invest in precious metals can most likely rely on to achieve their objectives.
Any red flags?
Well, as mentioned above most reviews and ratings I found was positive ones. However, as always I like to dig a bit deeper and I managed to find one complaint that didn´t sound good at all, see the exact exerpt below:
There is nothing ethical about the way things are done at/by Noble Gold Investments, and I speak from experience and my long association with Noble Gold Investments. It makes me sad to see that in spite of this Internet Era, no one has spoken against Noble Gold Investments .
-Source No-Scam.com (opens in new window)
I have to say that this particular complaint above might be a competitor trying to trash talk Noble, that is absolutely a possibility… However, my job is to present what I find to you, so you can make up your own decision based on your research.
You are the one who have to decide in the end what you believe, and I am pretty sure you will do what feels right for you as I trust you are a human capable of logical thinking.

Final Words and Verdict
Verdict: Legit
Overall Rating: (4.4 / 5)
First of all, I believe this company is legit.
When looking online on the reviews to be found, then Noble Gold is definitely out to achieve a Noble purpose in today’s world. It seems as an investor, you can rely on its services to invest in precious metals as you seek to shield your portfolio from market forces such as inflation. Noble Gold stands out for offering Royal Gold Survival Packs, which enable users to survive the very drastic and unexpected events in the economy.
On the other hand, the complaint I found suggested something else, of course you can never know if it is made by a competitor, such things happens more often than you might think, beleive it or not…
Anyway, that is my own personal opinion about this, it is of course up to you, I am sure you are a smart person, you reading this review suggest so, and I am confident that you will find the firm that suits your particular needs the best!

I wish you well,
Eric, Investor and Team Member at Gold Retired!
I purchased gold and silver for an IRA from Noble Gold. It was my first time buying gold or silver. They informed me the only costs involved amounted to $200/year. And they promised to pay the first year! I rolled over an aporox $19k 401k into one of their IRA’s. They required my IRA to be serviced by New Direction, Inc. Shortly after the rollover I noticed the market value of my account was only about 16k. When I asked New Direction about the difference in value, they said the market value didn’t exactly reflect the value of my account. They said it would depend on what I could sell that gold and silver for. That answer didn’t sound exactly right to me. It was vague and nebulous. I then called Noble Gold and that’s when they revealed they charged a 9 percent commission when I had purchased the gold and silver from them. As I said, it was my first time buying gold or silver. I’d feel a lot better about them if they had told me, up front, about the commission instead of after the sale. And then, only when I questioned the value of my account. Since then I’ve done a little research and found out that there are always fees/commissions associated with buying and selling gold. I still need to research and find out if a 9 percent commission is a fair commission. But, in any case, they should have been up front about the costs associated with my purchase….like their promotional material on their website suggests/promises.
First of all, thank you for your comment and for sharing your experience! This will help others to think twice before they end up with so-called hidden fees.
This is exactly why at the beginning of this review we have a warning text to compare different alternatives against eachother before making any decisions, and to choose a transparent company so you know exactly what fees are accossiated with your gold investment!
Thank you again for your comment, it will help others!
/Sincerely
I cannot say how thankful I am to see this comment. I have tried for weeks to open an IRA account with Noble Gold, but their team did a really poor job of getting back to us, and when they did they dodged the hard questions… the more I kicked the tires, the more I did not like, so I went scouring page 2 of search results to find authentic reviews & real analysis… all the page 1 cheering did NOT match my experience and just didn’t feel genuine.
So here were problems I had:
– they say ‘best prices’ on silver & gold, and after over a month of begging for them to tell their ‘spot prices’ for metals, their price was 25% over common spots for Silver and 10% for gold.
– I asked directly about the fees for New Direction, and all he would say is ‘I’ll send a DocuSign and you can check it out’
– was told min balance per account is now $10k (not the $5k published in most places)
– and when I told him I heard about him on x22 and that there was a promo to get a free silver coin when opening an account, he said that it was only for accounts of $25k or more… interesting that was never mentioned before… just feels like more boiler room tactics.
We ate NOT pulling the trigger with them for all the reasons above, plus this mention of 9% fee for the transfer which was left out when asked directly…
Thanks for sites like this!
