Important to mention before we go into more details of this review:
We always strongly recommend doing your research online before you choose a company to invest with. There are so many reviews online of clients being ripped off and scammed. The most common way people are getting scammed is through so-called “hidden-fees” so please investigate thoroughly before you make your decision.

With that being said, let´s continue with the review on Vanguard Group!
========================================================
What is Vanguard Group?
Based in Pennsylvania, Vanguard group is one of the world’s largest investment management companies. As of 2009, the value of the assets under their management grew from $1 trillion to a dazzling $5 trillion. Vanguard has international offices in Beijing, Melbourne, London, Paris and more cities across the globe!
Mortimer J. Buckley is the current Chairman and CEO of Vanguard group.
Founded by John Bogle who sadly passed away in 2018, it began operations on May 1st, 1975 and has about 16,600 employees in the United States and abroad, as of April 23, 2018.
It also has over 170 million investors in about 170 countries!
But are these big numbers an indication of great quality? Well, read the rest of the review to find out!
How does it work?
As you’ll see below, the Vanguard group offers different products and account types. You open an account and choose from these different options. It’s worth pointing out though that for people wanting to invest in precious metals, Vanguard isn’t the right choice. They recently changed the name of one of their mutual funds form Precious Metals and Mining Fund to global capital cycles which means that they are taking a step back from the precious metals market for one reason or another!
Overall, the website looks well-designed and the huge numbers seem promising. In spite of all this, the reviews I found online about this company shocked me! Keep reading and check them out!

IRA fees?
The Vanguard annual account service fees are show to you on their website as seen from the screenshot below:
What I liked about this is the “how you can avoid the fee” part which clearly helps vanguard’s clients avoid unnecessary expenses.

This is also not included in the Vanguard Website.

Final Words and Verdict
Verdict: Not recommended
Overall Rating: (2 / 5)
Although Vanguard group is a huge company and has the numbers to prove that, the extremely poor reviews, not being accredited by the BBB and the fact it’s no longer a big player in the precious metals market make it a not-so-good choice for investors!
The awful experiences some clients had with this company are also enough to make you stay away from it and look for better alternatives.
